You Need To Subscribe To These 9 Fitness Channels On YouTube

If YouTube has been your personal trainer over the past few months, same! Especially since the the world went virtual last year and everyone started doing these TikTok fitness challenges, it made me want to move my lazy butt off of the couch and instead start super-setting those glute bridges and weighted squats. We tried and tested many YouTube fitness channels and we’re spilling the tea just because you deserve to be trained by the best too. From high impact HIIT to low impact Pilates, you are sure to find at least one channel that appeals to you.

They offer free workout videos, making them the real MVPs. A lot of these channels offer workouts which require minimal to no equipment, so you can officially get off your expensive gym pass, which you hardly used anyway. If you’ve been regularly working out in lockdown with the help of YouTube, you probably already know about a few of these channels. You might still be able to freshen up your ~fitness feed~ with some of these pros. In no particular order, you have got to check out these 9 fitness channels on YouTube.

Pamela Reif

Pamela Reif is famous for her short, quick and effective workouts targeting specific muscle groups to maximise the burn. She also creates Workout Plans which she shares on her Instagram account; they are basically a combination of different workouts on her YouTube channel. The most-viewed workouts are the ab and booty workouts which offer some serious burn.

Fitness Blender

If you’re a big fan of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Fitness Blender is a great channel for you to try out. With a dominant number of full-length videos, their workouts will get you sweating, have your blood pumping and adrenaline rushing (which is actually one of the best feelings in the world). You’re going to have to put on your beast mode on for these workouts because honestly, to get through these workouts, you need that mindset. The feeling of successfully crushing a good cardio workout is like no other.

Lilly Sabri

Hands down, one of our favourite channels that we tried and it’s because she’s such a motivational trainer, Lilly will literally make you want to kick ass every time you show up to do a workout. She pushes you, yells at you, but ultimately makes you feel like the most powerful version of yourself. She has workouts that range from 5 minutes to 1 hour, but every single one of them is so effective. Her workouts require minimal equipment but one thing’s for sure: you’re going to feel that burn. She also creates free workout guides so you can make the most out of your workout.

Pressing on a Fitness Marshall video workout literally means entering a dance party. Caleb Marshall, the man behind The Fitness Marshall creates dance workout videos, that tbh don’t feel like a workout at all. He’ll make you dance your heart out to your favourite songs, have you sweating, making those moves and burning a tonne calories while not even feeling like you’re doing so. Not to mention, he’s so funny that he’ll definitely be boosting your serotonin at the same time.

From driver’s license dance workouts (you’ll totally crying and dancing) to quick-burn ab workouts, Maddie Lymburner, better known as MadFit, has got it all. I don’t want a dancer’s body said nobody ever. Originally a dancer, it’s no surprise that she’ll teach you how to tone up and target those muscles, so you’ll be on your way to your leanest and healthiest self ever. She’s had celebrity guests on her channel like Brie Larson (yes, you read that right) and Julianne Hough. Casey creates more slow-paced workouts, but that does not mean you don’t feel the burn (if anything, it burns more).
