You Need To Subscribe To These 9 Fitness Channels On YouTube

If YouTube has been your personal trainer over the past few months, same! Especially since the the world went virtual last year and everyone started doing these TikTok fitness challenges, it made me want to move my lazy butt off of the couch and instead start super-setting those glute bridges and weighted squats. We tried and tested many YouTube fitness channels and we’re spilling the tea just because you deserve to be trained by the best too. From high impact HIIT to low impact Pilates, you are sure to find at least one channel that appeals to you.

They offer free workout videos, making them the real MVPs. A lot of these channels offer workouts which require minimal to no equipment, so you can officially get off your expensive gym pass, which you hardly used anyway. If you’ve been regularly working out in lockdown with the help of YouTube, you probably already know about a few of these channels. You might still be able to freshen up your ~fitness feed~ with some of these pros. In no particular order, you have got to check out these 9 fitness channels on YouTube.

Pamela Reif

Pamela Reif is famous for her short, quick and effective workouts targeting specific muscle groups to maximise the burn. She also creates Workout Plans which she shares on her Instagram account; they are basically a combination of different workouts on her YouTube channel. The most-viewed workouts are the ab and booty workouts which offer some serious burn.

Fitness Blender

If you’re a big fan of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Fitness Blender is a great channel for you to try out. With a dominant number of full-length videos, their workouts will get you sweating, have your blood pumping and adrenaline rushing (which is actually one of the best feelings in the world). You’re going to have to put on your beast mode on for these workouts because honestly, to get through these workouts, you need that mindset. The feeling of successfully crushing a good cardio workout is like no other.

Lilly Sabri

Hands down, one of our favourite channels that we tried and it’s because she’s such a motivational trainer, Lilly will literally make you want to kick ass every time you show up to do a workout. She pushes you, yells at you, but ultimately makes you feel like the most powerful version of yourself. She has workouts that range from 5 minutes to 1 hour, but every single one of them is so effective. Her workouts require minimal equipment but one thing’s for sure: you’re going to feel that burn. She also creates free workout guides so you can make the most out of your workout.

The Fitness Marshall

Pressing on a Fitness Marshall video workout literally means entering a dance party. Caleb Marshall, the man behind The Fitness Marshall creates dance workout videos, that tbh don’t feel like a workout at all. He’ll make you dance your heart out to your favourite songs, have you sweating, making those moves and burning a tonne calories while not even feeling like you’re doing so. Not to mention, he’s so funny that he’ll definitely be boosting your serotonin at the same time.

From driver’s license dance workouts (you’ll totally crying and dancing) to quick-burn ab workouts, Maddie Lymburner, better known as MadFit, has got it all. I don’t want a dancer’s body said nobody ever. Originally a dancer, it’s no surprise that she’ll teach you how to tone up and target those muscles, so you’ll be on your way to your leanest and healthiest self ever. Her workouts are the feel-good type of ones, so be ready for those post-workout endorphins! Be right back, currently doing the folklore dance workout (yes, that exists!)

Cassey Ho, better know as blogilates has been creating Pilates content for years now, racking up close to a whopping 5.5 million subscribers on YouTube. She teaches guided Pilates workouts that are focused on targeted burn, but does often create non-pilates content too. She’s had celebrity guests on her channel like Brie Larson (yes, you read that right) and Julianne Hough. Casey creates more slow-paced workouts, but that does not mean you don’t feel the burn (if anything, it burns more).

Natacha Oceane

All hail your fitness virtual big sis. Natacha offers some intense workouts on her YouTube channel, but also makes paid workout programmes are approved by a Great Britain Olympic expert, with a greater focus on becoming stronger and more athletic. Not only that, she often sits down and creates videos with real talk about fitness and diet and is very open about her past struggles, making her one of the most relatable and authentic content creators. Being a biophysicist and sprinter, her videos are always backed by science, so that you know for sure that you’re on the right track.

Popsugar Fitness

Popsugar Fitness has every kind of workout and we mean it. Each workout is curated by a wide range of people, from celebrity trainers to industry professionals. They have a huge range of workouts uploaded on their YouTube channel which include TABATA, HIIT, Bellydancing (you read that right), Pilates, Strengthening, Kickboxing and everything in between, so adios to boring workouts and bonjour to the fun ones. In addition to all this, they have workouts from some of the best-known Hollywood trainers and also feature an amazingly diverse cast of body types. We love to see it!

Sydney Cummings

Sydney is best known for her full-length workouts and her beautiful words of motivation. She also creates workout plans, so that you can have a comprehensive guide of what workout to do on what day, which are also added to the thumbnails of the videos! She’ll put you through the ringer but you’ll thank her for it at the end. To add to all these pros, there are thousands of workout videos on her YouTube channel and she uploads every single day. By consistently doing Sydney’s workouts, she’ll definitely transform you into the most dedicated and the strongest version of yourself.
